This is an especially sharp and high class hardness Japanese knife blade, using core blade blue-2 steel from Yasuki hagane, which is reputed to be the top grade of steel for knives. This knife was forged by Tansetsu Japanese traditional way. And forged by a master black smith Hideaki Sasaoka. It is recommended for Professional Chefs.
