The handle in a curvaceous way was made of  some special material highly-figured Birdseye maple burl, and ebony wood from an old violin. It's a grain and color of wood with very fine. The hand-made wooden saya and special gift box are made of poplar wood. Also he made this custom knife gift for his friend’s wedding cake knife! He used epoxy and wood flour in the gaps in a wooden handle and  The handle was much too large for the blade, so I cut 25mm off at an angle. It's a nice handle shape finish.
