The knife is forged by Mr. Nasatada Matsumoto and is one of the highest grade, superb examples of Japanese knives, using Yasuki Blue 2 steel. He mainly focus to make by hand-forged in the traditional way, so he hasn't make knives made of containing blade material , as it has been done for hundreds of years in Japan.
