This sushi knife was made for a friend as a gift. The handle is burl, ebony and synthetic. The box was made on my CNC from Sapele with embedded magnets. The interior was flocked and has hidden magnets to hold the blade in place.
This small "paring" knife has an Ebony handle with a thin embedded metal accent strip. Feels really nice and balanced in the hand.
This final "hunting" knife came out really nice for my first attempt at this style. The burl handle is silky smooth and handsome. In fact, I like it so much, my next project will be a custom sheath. There is always something new to learn!
